The way I look at it, if Jeff makes a full range using the same Noesis drivers, he'll likely use one of the 12 inch as mid bass and the other for deeper bass (or change that driver to a bass one)... in which case, the speakers will likely be far less efficient (because when you go below 60-70hz, you need lots of power to drive them. I see that those full range speakers may be good standalone speakers for music, but I would still prefer the current 'satellite subwoofer' setup for movies, so i can get maximum mid bass from 2 12inch drivers (each speaker, and that translate to 6 in the front-stage),... and just add subs for the mega wattage you'll need down low...
that way you get the best of both worlds (the huge slap in the face mid bass, and the deep bass form dedicated subs).
I have always preferred sattelite / sub design.
I think the next design would be:
Sattelite / Mid Bass Units / Deep Bass Unit (Dr. Hsu invented or at least came up with a mid-bass idea first).
To be fair, Jeff's Noesis are like having a 'satellite with the compression drivers that comes down to 400hz', and mid bass with his double 12 inchers...
