When I switch it back to the Mits 65" DLP, it plays just fine. No other game or movie has done this. Any ideas?
Is your PS3 going directly to the HD20? Via HDMI? If not, try going directly to the HD20 with a single HDMI cable. Just for testing, not as a permanent solution.
I have seen several HDMI displays such as TVs and Projectors have signal sensitivity issues with certain devices and switchers. More so with 1080p than with 720p.
If it works fine with the PS3 directly to the HD20. Can you give some details on what length/brand of HDMI cables you are using. And what you have in between your PS3 and the HD20?
Also, since you just got the projector. If you can connect a computer to the HD20, I am sending mine back for a firmware update for an odd issue. The bottom 2 or 3 rows of pixels are several frames of lag. So if you connect a computer and take a light colored windows and drag it across the bottom area with a dark background, if you have the older firmware, you will notice that is creates a smearing effect. My firmware is C07. I just got it last week and it took until today for Optoma to finally email me the UPS label to ship the HD20 in for a free firmware update. Which is odd that you have to send it in since it has a Service USB port.
Just wanted to let you know so you have the latest firmware as soon as possible.
