Speakers/Audio card issues

I just got a Speaker set that has three inputs. (Front right/left) (Center/sub) and (Read right/left)

I currently have an x-fi gamer installed, but also have realtek HD audio (disabled in bios)

My issue is that, the only input I recieve audio from on the back of my pc is the green plug. This is the case for both the xfi gamer and the hd audio. If I plug the center/sub I get center/sub if I plug the front right/left I get front right/left.

I aint got a clue, why or how the other plugs dont work. With the exception of the microphone in....

Please Help!

you need to go into your sound card software and adjust the settings . Right now it is set to stereo or 2 channel. Set it to 5.1.

Ok got that part fixed, When I click "test" in the speaker configuration. I get every speaker to work, however in windows I cant hear the sub. I tried several different programs.

Are you cetain that the sub is connected and functioning properly? Do you hear sound out of it in the test mode? Try playing a cd or dvd and check for functionality. Also check the volume or gain settings on the sub.
