Are there any more somewhat significant differences between the two besides:
KV-34XBR910
- Picture-and-Picture
- DVI input
KD-34xs955
- Independent Input Memory
- built-in ATSC and QAM tuners
- Can sort of control aspect ratio of HD sources (just a Zoom option?)
- Memory Stick reader supports a few more formats
- CableCARD slot
- HDMI input
Also, I heard that the XBR960 and xs955's Super Fine Pitch tubes are apparently more vivid than the 910's (read something about 910 being more dim)---is this true? Would ISF calibration be able to close the gap a bit between the 955 and 910?
Regarding the Independent memory input: since the 910 doesn't have it, does that mean after an ISF calibration meant for movies and television is complete, the PQ for video games would not be as good as it would be if a specific input dedicated for gaming was calibrated for such on the xs955? Is it a pretty significant difference in your opinion?
Finally, does the SFP make 480p sources look any more detailed than say 480p on an XBR970, even if just a very small increase?
