in the desktop setup...device tab, settings for the tv, adjust power settings.
there you will be able to select the correct power settings...likely you'll need to set it up as separate commands for on and off...select on for on and either off or power for off.
these device level power settings feed the activity usage
Okay. I adjusted the power settings to set up the separate command for "Power On." It worked immediately after updating the remote and then has not worked subsequently (except that the "On" soft button under the "Devices" menu still works perfectly).
In summary I have tried the following without resolution:
1. Set separate "On" / "Off" commands (see above)
2. Adjusted the power on "delay"
3. Adjusted the power on "duration"
4. Taught the 900 the power on command from the original remote
5. Changed it from RF to IR (and back again)
5. Finally I deleted the Activities associated with my plasma TV, deleted the plasma from my Devices, and re-entered everything
Two things are really bizarre. First is that it worked perfectly when it was originally set up. The remote did re-boot once after being placed onto the charging cradle, and the issue emerged sometime after that, but I don't know if those two events are connected in some way. Second is that it works the first time I test it about 80% of the time after
I update the remote. Then after I turn everything off it never powers back up again unless I use the soft "On" button in the Device menu.
Irritating. Any thoughts?
I really appreciate all of your ideas and input.
