Take a look at Onkyo HT-RC160 as well. You give up a few watts/per channel compared to the 607 but less money as well. The only real differences I see between the V665 and RC160 is the 665 will upconvert everything to 1080p, the RC160 will only do it to 1080i... Not a big deal if your TV has a good de-interlacer. You also get an extra HDMI input with the Onkyo.

Based on what my ears are telling me (and the reliabilty factor) I'm going with a Pio. 1019 myself!

Not sure about the yami, but I bought the 607 and returned it. The sound wasnt too good and i hate the way it looks. I just ordered the 919 which is almost exactly like the 1019, well see how this one works out

PIO's don't get much love around here but the more I listen to them the more I like them (I'm ready to pop for a 1019 as soon as I find a decent price!)...

Btw, CNET really likes the 1019...

You can find lots of 'decent' prices the net, but NOT from authorized dealers (i.e., no factory warranty)!
