Powerline adapter to baluns?

Thread Starter
I have seem some posts asking about transmitting HDMI or component via powerline adapters, but still not sure about if it could work or not. I am NOT looking to set it up through a network or to attempt to stream digital media through it. I am just wondering if you could take component/and analog audio or HDMI from a satellite receiver to a balun then to a powerline adapter. Then at the other TV the powerline adatper to another balun and then to the TV. I even see some powerline adapters that are just switches as well that can take 4 cat5x wires. Not sure if any of this is possible. Please let me know.

Thanks for any help

Curious about this too. I have tried the wireless transmitter/receiver products and found them less than perfect. Hopefully someone will be able to provide some info.

No, component/HDMI BalUns don't convert the signals to ethernet, which is what a powerline networking device would need.
