I'm waiting on all my parts to come for my first build and now I'm looking at software and whatnot for when I actually have it built and running. I've looked at that thread for the Software in the sticky section but there are so many programs in there and I have no clue where to start.
Can someone recommend the basic software I'll need when I first get started? I'm planning on installing Windows 7. I'll have a Blu-Ray player so I'll need software to play those. I'm going to be doing some ripping and downloading so I guess I'll need software to rip. And I've read about some programs that manage all your media and even get the information on the movie's you have.
