How critical is your internet speed for gaming such as Socom? Where do the servers come into play? How much of this affects your ability to be more sucessfull at these types of games and what can be done to make it better.

servers

local company

my network and routers

my display

What part do the above components play? What can be done to make better ?
Thanks Jeff

Make sure you open ports for the PS3/PSN on your router, as well as any additional ports some games often require. There was a website that listed a bunch of them, but I've forgotten it.

Go to Network Settings>Setting status and see what NAT type it says you have. If it's NAT 2, it's fine. If it's NAT 3, you need to set up your DNS settings.

I'll try to find the link.

Wait, did you say porn or corn? Because I hope Harvest Moon comes to the PS3 and that involves corn.
