What is the clear plastic stuff that comes on electronics to prevent scratches?

Like the stuff around the Samsung 650's bezel? It does not have glue.

What makes it stick on?

I want some of that stuff. Any ideas? How come it never seems to restick? Is there a process to attaching it the first time?

Try a clean soft brush.

So use a brush to get it to reapply? It does not leave a residue so I am not trying to remove anything.

Well I thought you might mean that but I was not sure.

Do you have any suggestions on the brush? All I can think of is bristle brushes.

What I want to do is get some of this static plastic annd place it on my PS3. I had rather not reuse the strips from my Samsung 650.

Well I did finally find this.

http://www.grafixplastics.com/cling.asp

"Static Cling Vinyl Film by Grafix Plastics is a PVC Film, that sticks / clings to smooth gloss surfaces such as glass, smooth plastic and shiny metal surfaces. It sticks to these surfaces without any adhesive and can be removed without leaving behind any residue. Grafix Cling Film is ideal for a variety of graphics, craft and decorative applications such as signs, decals, window graphics, door covering, protective masking and much, much, more."
