When I do the Audyssey Auto Setup and it starts with the speaker detection, every time it runs it shows the either no speaker or no microphone. Is there any tricks or maybe did I just get a ****** microphone. Sound is coming out of the speakers buts that so its not the connection.

Read the Guide. It is clearly structured so that you can find things. Alternatively, you can search the thread but I recommend the Guide.

Could be a bad mic. Obtain a replacement and see if that fixes your problem. If it doesn't then it is probably an internal problem.

Dumb question: Does the unit play back properly at louder listening levels? If not you could have some amplifier issue.

That seems most likely.

I ended up sending it back hopefully that will fix it. Also, yes it does play back properly at louder listening levels.
