Hello,

I am getting into video processing, still a rookie though.. Are they worth buying? My fios on some SD channels is blurry (Verizo FIOS claims that they have best picture quality, and it is a BIG lie!!).. What will the processor do for me? Will it make my Blu ray even better? Sorry for the questions!! I am looking to make my setup better altogether..

Cheers,
Robbie

Hi
I bought a DVDO EDGE only for Blu-ray and the difference is night and day but am running a 12ft 2.40 screen but It need a lot of help, If you would to buy a EDGE you will notice your SD DVD will look a lot better because the EDGE use 2010-VRS chip that is top of the line right next to HQV.

It made blu-ray better for me is I have a older player and in the past 2 years they have improved on the Picture quality by using VRS or HQV video Processor on blu-ray.

Go for the EDGE you will Love it.

Hi
What ever you put through the EDGE it comes out better at the other end so yes it will improve your Picture, And now the EDGE support Deep Color Now so it will go well with your JVC PJ

What are you putting through your PJ.

Thank you!! Right now you can pickup the EDGE for $499, pretty good deal if it will make my picture better. Does it have a setting for motion? i love the effect of smooth motion, almost fluid-like you find on some PC dvd players like powerdvd with motion enhancer..

Hi If I was you I would wait on your Philips Remote and get the EDGE why the EDGE is for a limited time Only and they droped the Price down to $999. I was talking about this to my Hi-Fi-Deal and that was about 4 weeks ago am surprise it is still for $999 to tell you the truth I would still pay $1600 and I would feel am stealing it, as you know they charge for the VP50pro 6k and it use the same VRS chip in. but the VP50Pro is for more calibrating.

I would not wait more then two weeks for the EDGE

Okay, here is my conclusion when it comes to DVDO EDGE... Aftert playing around, twaeking in all various ways, EDGE did not improve my fios, certain channels were no different, edge improvement was somewhat noticeable, but also was the artifacts. I will return the unit, it is not worth $799. Perhaps a larger screen than my Wega 40" XBR, I honestly did not see improvement, I dont know what is the big hype about!...
