There seems to be for some files on the Z500. With SMB, I can skip, but not with uPnP.
I remember I saw something like this in Dune f/w a couple of year ago. But during the last year I don't think so. But frankly, WMV and DivX files are quite rare these days. Almost everybody prefers to do MKV...
What I'm generally watching is WMV or DivX, but more is moving to h.264. Unfortunately, the Z500 won't play h.264.
No. Don't remember problems with TS (if the file is not broken and has no problems everywhere inc. a PC), such files are still used.
One other complicated question:
Have you used the Dune with uPnP? What I find with the Z500 is one flaw and one annoyance:
1. Not all shows show up in all categories. Under "By Date" they all show up. But under "By Title," the program "directory" shows up, but one or more of the shows will be missing. Sometimes the directory is completely empty. Given the number of MythTV users who haven't complained about this, it seems this is a Z500, not a MythTV issue.
2. When the shows do show up in the "By Title," there is no way to know what order they were recorded.
So the question is whether the Dune works well enough with uPnP, and whether the order of the recordings can be set for any kind of chronological order?
