This is both good (if you are playing stupid), and bad (no lean, 10 enemies all drawing a bead on your location at the same time, etc).

Its almost like you don't get to enjoy the gun-porn because you are always getting shot at from all sides by ever-appearing enemies. Its just a little too much sensory overload for me....great game but I wish they'd let me enjoy my killing a lil' bit more

I've been playing some more today, on hardened I think, and I've found that in this one you can actually sit back, take cover, and just keep killing for a few minutes and the bad guys will eventually stop coming, as opposed to COD4 and its Jihad factory in ever building. I'm coming to like the SP more and more as I get into it.

I have purchased this game, after playing it from about a week after it's release date I can firmly give my opinion that this game SUCKS!

Single player is okay and the graphics are top notch.

What I really dislike about this game is the online multi. Maps are too small and make you dizzy with running around in circles all the time. The host leaving in a rage fit and having to find another one is a big annoyance. Can't stand all the bunny-hopping either.

After playing Armed Assault 2 for awhile now it just suites my taste better. Huge world to play in, plenty of weapons to choose from, being able to pilot a Cobra helicopter, drive an M1A1 tank and many other vehicles. Yeah it's a much better game PvP wise, especially the AAS (Adavance and Secure) maps.

You actually have to think in ARMA 2, not run around like a bunny-hopping idiot....lol

ARMA2:

You lie prone near a tree....with a sniper rifle. You peek out and see a tiny dot in the distance. That dot kills you and you die.

To compare the games is like comparing apples and cheezits.

I will say it's fun for the graphics, but the server/hosting issue with the PC game has killed a lot of the best parts of these games which is the customization of maps and stats/realism . I think everyone would be better off if there were some "*ZeR0 G oMg. wAz uP*" custom servers around to keep kids that wanted to play that type of game happy and away from ones set for hardcore realist.

The game is fun and I'll probably only play till I hit the level cap... or till the next big title drops. I'll end by saying I still fire up DoD after 8 years every so often and I don't see COD:MW2 on my next PC!
