Me and family viewed the 7500ub fully calibrated from a pro installer and must say we where left speachless. Regular tv and blueray looked amazing. The picture looked like a 133" flat panel LCD. I'm really interested to see what the new model will look like compared to the 7500ub. It was nice to see properly set up unlike the demo we saw at a high end retail store such as Starpower in Dallas Tx. Just got back from a local BB store and viewed the new Mitsubishi 6800. I had high hopes for the 6800 but I guess it's nice fair being viewed after seeing the 7500ub. For being $1700 less than the 7500 it still threw a nice picture. Blacks seamed to better than the 7100. I will admit that the 6800 was barely put together when we arrived at the store and all settings where straight out of the box with everything set at zero. Could the picture with proper Calibration make a night and day difference? Saleman said he would have it calibrated sometime next week. It was displayed on a Stewart grey pulldown screen. As mentioned earlier the 7500 looked to be a big Flat panel Lcd but the 6800 was almost right next to a Sony 40" LCD tv and it didn't look as bright even with ajusting some settings it didn't get much brighter. The 7500 throw was around 15' and the 6800 was around 14' on a 92" screen.
