Joe looking on projector central the AX200U has a slightly longer zoom range. Both are the same but the AX200 can go a little closer.
AX200U: Zoom: Manual, 2.00:1 Throw Dist (feet) : 7.9 - 20.3
AX400U:Zoom: Power, 2.00:1 Throw Dist (feet) : 11.5 - 19.7

It will work fine...I replaced the AX200 with the AE4000 and from the same distance, I didn't notice any change...I have mine projecting from 23 ft and there is plenty of room in both directions... I'm just confused as to why this projector is not in the "under 3000.00 thread?"...It should not be in this thread...

This thread was created before the price was released. So it has stuck around in this area since then. There is another thread in the under 3000 section that gets way more eyes.

Remember the 3000 on release date was allot more than the 4000. The 4000 was a really nice surprise when the price came in.
