I am not trying to use the network on this player.
I am moving movie files from my computer to the internal hard drive on the player. All movie files work fine on my computer.
The problem is it is only playing a specific type of file. The files that I have gotten to work are all avi files.
But when I add more avi files I get the error message, "video file format not supported." The manual and everything else that I have found on this player says it should play all types of movie file, avi, vob, mpg...but after two days of transferring files, mainly avi since I got the 5 that work. And still same error.
Can anyone please help me...are there difference type of avi files that I need to look at? From the ones that are working, is there something I can check to see what type they are, so that I can get the same kind?
I am so frustrated!!!!
