Hello,

This might be a stupid question, but I found some Plasmas, Receivers that are "THX Certified". Everyone heard that term before (especially in Lucas films), but what does it do? There is THX for audio, and THX for video. I am mainly interested what benefits would I get from THX Certified plasma??..

In the latest generation of plasmas, the THX picture mode has a strong red pull in the color decoder. I saw and measured it in the Panny G10, V10, and LG PS60; and I also saw it in a THX certified JVC DILA front projector. I don't know what went wrong. Last year's THX certified Panny 800u didn't have that problem.
So I don't consider the THX modes in the latest plasmas worthwhile.
