'The Vampire Diaries' on The CW HD - Page 2

When I grow up I want to be a cameraman.

Decent episode, but I'm really starting to feel for the aunt. The teacher really undressed her!! Well, figuratively speaking...
Good music also.

Jury is still out on this one for me. Too much teenage angst and not enough vamp action. Haven't canceled the series link yet, but...

Same here... but it's likely I won't be around for long watching this show.

On the CW, Vampire Diaries was down from its premiere last week 24% to a 1.6 rating for adults 18-49 (from a 2.1), and 26% to a 1.7 rating for adults 18-34 (from a 2.3). That's quite a drop in blood pressure.

Can they bring back 'Moonlight'? Please...?

I'm not surprise. It did have a strong debut in ratings, but I wasn't really feeling the show in the end (considering the ratings drop, most agree). But I may continue to watch to see what happens, but again I won't be around too long... I already know that.

Think about it, if you were a 160+ years old, had seen the world over and over how comfortable would you be sitting in a high school class with a bunch of dumb twitters? That's my biggest issue with the show. It could have been solved by aging the female character a year, as an 18 year old senior dating a supposedly 19 or 20 year old guy would not be that unheard of. I can think of nothing dreary or more tiresome than sitting in a class all day listening to some idiot drone on about facts when you have lived that history. Stefan needed a better cover story.

I consider the show light diversion, a bit of fun, but as with all Williamson shows it seems that anyone over 20 does not exist in the town.

Still watching. Maybe this one was a bit smoother. Dunno yet.

After maybe one more there's a good chance I might just start saving them all to watch once rerun season starts again. But starting next week there's a glut of new season shows and I don't think Vampire Diaries will be able to compete for my TV time for awhile.

+1 ... I wanted to like it, but there's just something about it that makes me want to stab my eyes with a fork. Same reaction I had to Gossip Girl.

The second episode convinced my wife and I that we're not really that upset that we'll miss the rest due to DVR conflicts. I'm not sure we would have kept the show, if we didn't have conflicts.

While I wish it would happen, this show is starting to grow on me with the last episode.

This last episode did show some signs of actually being interesting, hopefully it continues that way.

Yeah that last twist while it makes perfect sense, I did not expect.

Agreed, the last episode kind of hooked me also.

The good brother and the bad brother story is as old as mankind. I'm waiting for them to be more evenly matched, Stephan is just too much of a wimp to go head to head with his brother. There needs to be a more balanced power or the conflict will soon be over. Don't they have a friendly blood bank in that town?

I'm glad I stuck with it. This last episode was much less teenage angst and more vamp action. It will be interesting to see what Elaina does with her new found information.

I thought last night's episode was the best so far. Nice blend of providing background on events of the past with current crisis. This is much improved over the first few episodes.

I like the show so far… but does anyone know the African American girl who is best friends with Elena? She is hot. I have never seen her in a show before, so I hope she gets more exposure into other shows or movies soon.

I'm wondering how they get their rings, as it seems Vicki will be needing one soon...

Anyone else see Katherine playing the role she did?? I suppose I'm a bit slow.

I'm still following it and I do think it's gotten a bit better.

Though I find it hard to believe Elaina would really keep it a secret if she knows her friends and neighbors were being regularly killed by Vampires. These days someone would probably just publish a blog about it.

Of course, you are right. Logic and common sense often are lacking in a number of shows I watch.

If I think too much about some of the idiotic choices characters make, I probably wouldn't be able to watch anything

Show keeps getting better each week. Kudos on the nice clip the show is moving.

Ok anyone beside me wonder if the black deputy is also from a family line from the 1800's?

For the CW, Vampire Diaries had its highest rating ever in adults 18-34 (2.3), matched its series high in women 18-34 (3.1 rating), and had its second best performance of the year in adults 18-49 (2.0 rating).

Another good episode with a reveal about the rings:
Not all vampires have one! Too bad the "friend" had to die so quickly...
The CW is showing nothing but Vampire Diaries this week.

Excellent, even though I'm hardly in the target demo, I like this show.
