Movie with the HOTTEST girl you've ever seen. - Page 209

My guess is if you get her unclothed enough to see her tattoo you are "getting lucky". Along with all the thousands who have seen it now? I wouldn't really call that "lucky" then!?!? Nothing against her or tattoos in general...seems a little tacky. Get something with meaning or beauty maybe....
The biggest drawback to tattoos, seems to me, is that eventually you get old and your skin begins to sag and the beautiful colors you saw when the tat was new turn to a uniform muddy green. Someday, what once made you go "wow" will eventually make you go "yuk - wish I hadn't gotten so drunk that weekend". tongue.gif

In Scarlett's case, that's also a pretty lousy example of tattoo art - looks like it was done by a 12 year old. She could certainly afford to hire a more talented artist. confused.gif

I dont think you CAN get a drunken tattoo. I think you have to have a consultation before the actual work is done. Also, a muddy tattoo can be touched up. And I once read a cartoon that addressed the "regret" issue. It was something like why would I regret the great memory of something that once meant so much to me. The only people who talk about regret, that I have ever heard, are those talking ABOUT others tattoos. I'm not someone who wants a tattoo but I completely understand those who have them and what they mean to them.

Something like this perhaps:

She's hot regardless of ink. However, I'd be pissed that the top word isn't centered over the horseshoe.

For what it's worth, I know an acquaintance who does laser tattoo removal. He says that business has never been better. He says for every person who treats it like art, he sees 10 who had major regrets.

Not that it's a bad place to go on her, but that specific spot is well past the 10th place any of us
would visit if we had a shot. Why There? On wait...I forgot..it's a girl, i.e. you'll never figure it out.

I had an idea to do them in invisible ink, so they only show up when no one is looking. That way, you can have your tattoos and not see them, too.

If you judge beauty on body art shouldn't you judge it on hair color, clothing type, etc? I think tattoos chicks mostly don't give a crap about about what you think. (And for the record I have zero tattoos). Ok I'm done now

Maybe you should take a look at the thread title. This thread is inherently sexist, in case you hadn't already noticed, and it is about superficial looks and little else. It isn't about men, and it certainly isn't about me, so why make it personal?

Also, why take it personally? I'm just one guy who doesn't like tattoos (and for the record, I don't like them on men or women, but again, this thread isn't about men or their looks). Who cares? My personal opinion on a trivial, superficial matter about bodies and their appearance doesn't warrant a rant or a rebuke from you. cool.gif

P.S. You said you were biting your tongue. I wish you had held it longer, but on the other hand, I'm glad for you that you got that off your chest (God, I'm the king of mixing metaphors unintentionally, but I digress...)

Further, there is not one single instance in which I have ever seen a good looking woman who looked better with a tattoo (or multiple tattoos) than without.

I don't like seeing nice bodies defaced, but then again I won't write in my own books either because I consider it somewhat sacrilegious to deface them. biggrin.gif

I agree.

Yea I'm sure there are idiots who do anything...include getting stupid tattoos like girlfriend names or whatever...face tattoos. I wonder what type of tattoo is the most common removal

It's not just idiots that regret it later. A recent girlfriend of mine had a large green butterfly that covered the "tramp stamp" area of the small of her lower back. She got it when she was 19 and very petite. I dated her 20 years later when she was still small and lithe, but after two kids was not quite as a youthful or petite, and her skin was much looser in that area. By then her once beautiful butterfly was just a big, ugly faded green blob. She no longer thought it was cool or beautiful, and I thought it looked atrocious. It didn't keep me from dating her, but I would have much preferred she didn't have it. It was ugly and marred her looks.

I suspect her situation is fairly typical. What sounds like a great idea when you are young and think you will never change, etc., doesn't sound so great 20 or 30 years hence. The fact is that most people's tastes and priorities with respect to certain things do change as they get older, contrary to what most young people think will never happen to them (not to mention that their bodies change as well). It's not a character flaw; it's just human nature and a normal part of aging.

That's what's keeping those tat removal places busy. It's an aging population who got their tats when they were young and cool some 20 or 30 years ago. Those who get them now when they are young will likely be doing the same when they are in their 40s and 50s. Grandmas don't look nearly as cool with saggy, faded tats on their flabby skin as young hot chicks in their twenties do.

As for what type of tattoo is the most common removal, it's pure speculation on my part, but I'm guessing it's the face tattoo, the tramp stamp, and the name of the boyfriend, girlfriend who is now an ex.

Probably bands people thought were hot in their day. Sure glad I held off. Otherwise, I'd have to explain to my co-workers who the Archies and 1910 Fruitgum Company were.

Yes, I think you have to be somewhat sober to actually get one (because of bleeding). But the decision to get one - well, my guess is many of those are made, like a lot of other bad decisions, while intoxicated. Not always by booze, sometimes by love perhaps...? That would explain the growth industry involved in removing old lovers' names from various body-parts. Oops! biggrin.gif

That tat on Scarlett looks like it came out of a cereal box. I have a hard time believing its real. Then again, maybe Justin Bieber pissed it on her.

I watched Alpha Dog last night (based on comments in this thread.) Not that great a flick, but it certainly does make one want to Take a Walk on the Wilde Side.

Sadly, we have a dearth of ladies on this forum and I get tired of listening to all of you testosterone-overdosed teenagers all the time.
