Have to agrre with DHolmes on this one. I've been following this young beauties career for awhile and besides her beauty, (like so many other hot, young, Hollywood starlets), her career has been pretty underwhelming, but now that's she's broken out with this EXTREMELY revealing small role on HBO's True Detective, I have a feeling her career may have just taken a turn for (our selfish, edifying enjoyment tongue.gif) the better.

So far, other than some guests roles in a few TV shows, she's had staring roles in some God awful movies like: Texas Chainsaw 3D and Bereavement. I suppose you could call Percy Jackson an ok movie(s).

For those that have not seen True Detective yet, episode 2 is not to be missed @ about the 18 minute mark...have your DVR slow motion button at the ready, i have a feeling you'll be needing it biggrin.gif

You're welcome tongue.gif

Always thought she was cute in Percy Jackson but damn what a body! That's a full serving of sweater meat and then some👍

The scene with Ms. Daddario in last week's TD was one to finally best the Californication scene with Susan Sarandon's daughter doing a lap dance for Hank. I knew something was up (or would be up) when she and Woody went into the room to look at court records together in the first episode. smile.gif

I just watched that scene. Agree that she's (they're) spectacular. Best set I've seen since that 'Californication' scene Larry referenced. Hope it leads to a long and fruitful career for her. That kind of gratuitous nudity needs to be encouraged and rewarded! smile.gif

She's actually a few months older than I so.... All good. tongue.gif

She's a TV actress. Don't think she's done any theatrical films. Currently starring in Starz's 'Back Sails'. Watched it, didn't much care for it, won't be watching any more. But she does get sorta' nekkid in a tepid lesbo scene. So there's that. rolleyes.gif

She's been in three theatrical movies and many TV movies, she fits the bill....

Ah yes. Whatever you say. tongue.gif

IMDB lists those "theatrical movies" as Bad Meat, In Time, and 50/50. All done on the quick & cheap in 2011, apparently, and never having played at any octoplex near you. I believe those are commonly referred to as "straight to DVD". Or "straight to streaming", these days. Personally, I don't care...but, I don't make the rules either. wink.gif

Both In Time and 50/50 received wide releases. Many argued that 50/50 was snubbed for Oscar recognition.

What, no love for Bad Meat? I hear that was an Oscar contender too! tongue.gif

The other two had decent casts - Justin Timberlake, Joseph Gorden-Levitt - so they probably played somewhere near me; I stand corrected. Still, I had never heard of this actress until sitting through the boring 'Black Sails' last night.

50/50 is a very good film. I've seen it a number of times and enjoyed it a lot every time. I think I posted a review of it here, which probably got completely ignored like all of the other ones. It's both quite funny and extremely moving, which is a good combination.
I will never watch 50/50.
IMO, Seth Rogen is about as much fun as a cold sore.
He's actually quite good in this movie, and it would be a mistake to allow your preconceptions rob you of the experience.

Very much agreed on both counts, Dean. Oink, it's your loss, man.

There are certain actors I don't really care for, but when I hear good things about a movie they're in that is different from their usual roles then I'm willing to give it a try. So many people still associate Jim Carrey with Ace Venture and think every movie he makes is the same. Far from it. Sandler, Ferrell, and Rogen, just to name a few, have done work that is quite different from what you would expect.
