In preparation for the upcoming build sprint(s), I picked up a few tools this week:
1) Porter-Cable Three Nailer / Compressor Combo Kit
2) RIDGID 12 Compound Miter Saw
So I decided to install some new crown in my office. As another AVSer says "That took longer than I thought!" There is a first time for everything, and this weekend was not the time for me to learn how to install 45 spring degree crown!
I am now at one with my finishing nailer and compound miter saw.
The best news is that my retired dad has committed to spending a week towards the end of this month helping during my first 8 day sprint (move shower drain, framing, rough electrical, rough plumbing, rough HVAC). I know, I'll be lucky to get through framing.
My only ace in the hole is my cousin. He has remodeled a bunch of houses and offered to help once his football season is over. He is a high school math teacher and football coach, and the team is in the playoffs which start next weekend. While I hope they go all the way, it sure would be nice if he could start helping sooner...I never knew Nancy Kerrigan, really.
