I feel the same way. I mentioned earlier that at this point I would like to see Jim and Pam fail, and this episode headed a bit in that direction. Jim continues to become more of a toolbag as the show goes on.

I must also mention that I can't stand the actor Clark Duke, the new pudgy jerk on the show.

Im guessing you dont like sarcasm which is basically what both of those characters comedy lines are based off of.....

Isn't it clear now that this Brian guy has feelings for Pam? maybe the show is heading of Pam divorcing Jim and getting together with Brian

Mose was hilarious as ever..

I doubt they'd get a divorce. If the characters stay true to how they've been written for 9 years, anyway. I think Brian is just a device to make the Pam/Jim story arc more interesting for the end of the show. What will be interesting is how Pam reacts to realizing that Brian has the hots for her.

That is my thought too. I think Pam realized at the end of the show, but it will be interesting to see how she handles it. I really don't see them getting a divorce. Just a little drama for Pam and Jim as the show wraps up.

What did you guys think of the last 1 hour Office? It seemed almost like a Series Finale. Was it supposed to be? They really did try to make that real estate boss like Michael Scott. Gabe the Dweeb was brought back. In any case, I didn't find the episode to be that good.
It's looking like Jim and Pam won't be together at the end.
Yeah pretty much they were implying that Jim will just work in Philly, Pam will stay on Scrancton (probably with Brian), the end..

Better caul Saul was good..

It was okay. I'm ready for the show to be done. smile.gif

When they zoomed in on the computer screen it said something to the effect "coming in May: The Office..."...maybe the next ep will be in May?

The ad was for the documentary being made about the dunder-mifflin office.

The Office went back to it's roots tonight...That was the best episode in years!
Tonight was a reminder of how good this show used to be. I know it's time for the series to end but I'll miss it anyway.

Yes, it was and I'm really disappointed by the lack of notice it's getting here and elsewhere.

I really can't limit myself to five and my insomnia keeps me from doing a complete list, but ones that spring to mind:
Dinner Party
The Injury
Customer Survey
A Benihana Christmas
Dwight's Speech
Scott's Tots...aw hell, I could go on and on, but I'll end it here.

I've been ready for the show to end, but some of the episodes this season have been pretty good. smile.gif

Did I saw Michael Scott on the previews for season finale? Or maybe he will be of course on the special before the finale?

I'm pretty sure the shot you saw was from the special before the finale.

Carell did show for a celebration in the real Scranton along w/ most of the existing & previous cast members.

I thought I had read somewhere that the shot of Jim & Pam's wedding (with Michael Scott in attendance) during the video Jim commissioned from the doc crew for Pam in last week's episode was in fact a reshoot done during the finale, but I have zero confirmation on that.

Initially, it was said that Carell would not return, opting to let his initial goodbye to The Office stand. Since then, we have had some rather cagey answers from other cast members regarding the will he/won't he return. Most recent was Mindy Kaling - who will be back - talking (or joking) on Letterman about the non-disclosure agreement she signed regarding the finale (and Steve Carell). It may be that Carell changed his mind after initially saying no, or it has all been a publicity ploy of sorts and Carell's return was in fact inevitable.....or not.

My guess is that Michael may show for Dwight & Angela's wedding. And Carell looks to certainly be taking part in the retrospective special they seem to have on tap for Thursday.

Friendly reminder, the series finale is on tonight. Set your DVR's accordingly, it's going to be an extra long one.
So the show normally airs 8:00 CDT. It starts tonight at 7:00 CDT? And goes until 9:00 CDT?

Yeah that does agree with TVGuide.com. We have a lot of Thursday shows, so my DVR'ing is tough. We might actually have to watch something live?!?!?!: eek:

Perfect ending for the series. It was nice they didn't overdue certain parts.
Very satisfying ending for the series. Things tied up about as you might expect for Jim and Pam. Seeing all the clips from the early seasons (during the retrospective) has me ready to pop in the season one disk and start watching again.

Yes, great final episode. The writers did a great job. I more or less stopped watching the series when Michael Scott left Scranton but wanted to catch today's retrospective and final episode. Between the two, I got a little teary-eyed.
