Panasonic DLP lamp question

Hi everyone,
I'm really not sure if this is the right place for this post but I'm losing my mind and am hoping for some helpful answers
I have a panasonic PT-56DLX75-K DLP television. The bulb blew...no surprise after reading several other blogs on the subject.
So after 6 weeks of trying to locate a lamp under 400.00,finding one, ordering it and it not fitting after a 3 week wait for delivery, I finally received my lamp straight from panasonic in the mail today. Very excited I was to get the stupid thing installed, I pulled it out of the box ran down to the TV and attempted to install it. To my dismay the lamp and housing are totally different than the original(same as the previous one I ordered), and won't fit....the model number (TY-LA2005) and TV model number(PT-56DLX75-K) all match up but no go.....Can't get a hold of panasonic customer support(they always say leave a message and never get back to me).
Please help....I miss my TV!!
