'NCIS: Los Angeles' on CBS HD - Page 3

Just thought I take a look at this thread & am surprised that there has not been any comments for a long time.

Initially I did not care for the "LA" spinoff, but now like it better than the original. LA seems to have more action. It's nice to see the new romance has happened. I just hope it doesn't turn the series into a soap opera.

I often find myself looking more forward to NCIS LA than I do the original... even though I still enjoy both shows.

One of the things that makes for a good show, that is people talking to each other, and the forbidden romance stuff, trying to stay clandestine or the innuendo type stuff with Dinozzo & Ziva makes for good interment. Ziva's gone but there well be another, same thing with NCIS L.A. Deeks and Kinsi had that chemistry or great acting or may be both. I sure enjoy the type of banter that happens with that. Both shows are the people talking with each other and not like a lot of other stuff that if the sound is turned off there is little to miss.

Ellie (the new girl) may be a bit young for Tony and I think by the time the series ends, Ziva will be back with him if only for the finale, whenever that may be. Also, didn't we see Ellie wearing a wedding ring on the first show in which she appeared?

I also think Kensi will be back with Deeks once they film new episodes after she's had her baby (in real life).

I like both shows but for me, NCIS gets the edge (by a small margin).

She wears the asme wedding ring in her second appearance as well. It was brought up in the first episode but it wasn't answered. I think she and her boss (RIP) were much closer than meets the eye....

That was my thought also.

They care on over the phone as we saw last night.

They removed all doubt about Bishop's marital status last night.

Sorry, wasn't paying any attention to which thread I was in. Will try to not let it happen again.

No problem, it's easy to do.

could an NCIS: NY spinoff happen? Probably not...since the main NCIS show is set in DC.

How about the gulf coast, it's got water, ships, navy, and hot chicks, plus smugglers, is a good story line. Remember Miami Vices.

New Orleans or maybe Pensacola would seem to natural locations for a spin-off. Or maybe Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean

I just heard during a break in the football game that Intelligence was going to air right after NCIS. Does that mean NCIS-LA is moving or going away?

Intelligence "moves to Regular Monday 10:00 PM Time Period on Jan. 13"

That looks interesting. Let's hope it's better than the aborted Red spinoff.

From the article:

It won't surprise you that the concept and characters of the proposed series (tentatively titled "NCIS: Red') were introduced in the first half of a "NCIS: Los Angeles' two-parter, which concludes Tuesday at 8 p.m. on CBS/Channel 2.

Other than that, I don't know anything smile.gif

Thanks, I vaguely remember now.

I'm glad they didn't go forward with the "Red" spin-off. I love Kim Raver as an actress, but that pilot just didn't do much for me. She's been in a lot of good shows/series, but that wasn't one of them.
