Me too, I like my women on the smaller, slim side. Although she's getting a little too thin, even for me.

Bony undernourished women every where should rejoice. Honestly, she needs to EAT a SAMMICH.

Buddy, there's no right or wrong. Like someone else and I said earlier, to each his own.

Julie Bowen is quite pretty but I get the idea she is a fanatic about her weight. She could gain 5-10 and still be quite hot.

But in the end I still would take Sofia every day of the week over here. I like a curvy girl what can I say.
I'll take either, or preferably, both. Variaty is the spice of life.

Best line of the night for me. "We'd be on her like white on rice. Uh...."

+1

Julie Bowen's character is very anal, which Is mirrored in her appearance, IMO. But she is absolutely beautiful and I've always loved her-- especially on "Boston Legal."

Sofia -- man, that's another story. Not the classic kind of beauty like Julie, but still gorgeous and a sensuality that absolutely melts the TV.

I don't think I'll be forced to make a choice any time soon, though. :-D

All repeats until January 5th.

Sofia over Julie any day!!!!!!!!! Women have to have curves to have a good figure IMHO

Buddy, IF I implied there was right and wrong, I apologize. I am certainly not the only one thinking she needs a sammich. Still, not claiming right or wrong.

I agree 100%, Bowen is way too thin, Vergara has a far more balanced and full body.

Funny episode last night with Jamie Gertz as neighborhood enemy #1. The bit with Gloria learning to ride a bike was great. The "guest" over at Mitchell and Cam's was a little odd.

Wreckless driver woman was kind of a looker, I liked that new teaching method, very effective.. bring on the soaker guns!

I loved Luke's negative reinforcement teaching style. I think all the kids on this show are terrific, and some of the most hilarious moments spring from the interactions of the Dunphy crew. The bee bee gun accidents in the pilot, Haley learning to drive, all the scenes with the whole clan in their van, Luke and Phil's microscopic attention spans and nearly identical maturity levels.

Great show.

It was surreal watching yet another male character trying to disguise the lady who couldn't spare a square.

I loved Jay's comment to her - when she stated that it should be impossible for a bike to stay upright.....well, Gloria is proof that someone with her...um...attributes should not be able to stay upright due to gravity either, but she does....

That was classic:
Gloria:"It makes no sense, there is no reason that thing should stay upright"... Ed: "There is no reason you should stay upright it just works".

We used to love her in Still Standing.

I agree. The Dunphy kids are very funny. Manny though, as others have mentioned needs better stuff.

My favorite line.

Even if it was just a big boobs joke.

Crap, Obama's speech cut into the show, leaving only about 12 minutes.

I've searched for a repeat but I don't see any.
I saw the whole episode. Since I saw Obama was on I extended the recording 15 mnutes and caught the whole thing.

Pretty darn good episode. I knew what his girlfriend's "child" was going to be but they still pulled it off well. Even with it being obvious, they had me laughing all the same.

Its so hard to pick a favorite on here, Gloria is hilarous at times, but so are the others. Much better episode then the last one.

"Little Slugger". Classic.....

Didn't work to do that in the NY DMA. They started the show "already in progress." We only got the last 12 minutes.

The wife and I watched it online last night, good show.

WABC aired the entire new episode. I got the first half during my DVR recording of it and the 2nd half during my recording of Cougar Town. They preempted Cougar Town and joined a repeat episode of Modern Family in progress. They were back on schedule at 10:00.
Well, I'm on the Mountain Time zone and since it airs an hour later than central I could watch it..

Another nice episode.. Chloooeee!

Claire and Phil's romp being interrupted by the kids was so damn funny. Luke's comment, "....whatever it was, it looked like Dad was winning" with regards to what he saw. Classic. Luke had another one about Dad being behind Mom which escapes me right now--I'll have to go back and watch it to hear it again I was laughing so damn hard.

Gloria and Jay's sending of the e-mail ("Please come back...") to Claire and then Gloria's explanation of the situation to an obviously not on the same page Claire--again, classic. Phil's REACTION (I may pass out") to hearing all this....gold!

Cameron and Mitchell's interaction with the owner of the new chic restaurant in town....hysterical. Turn the rug around....unbelievable.

There were SO MANY MORE one liners that I'll definitely have to go back to remember all of them.

4 thumbs up to last night's episode.
