polk monitor 30 tweeter question

ok i got curious and i took apart my monitor 30's and i was shock to see how small the magnet on the tweeter is, for comparison my bic dv62si and my dads haffler model 200 tweeter magnets are 5-10x the size, and the bics only have a .75" tweeter, the hafflers have a 1" tweeter, to me it looks like polk cheaped out majorly

so i was wondering if it was just small because it uses a neodymium magnet, and will this tweeter overheat because its so small and deos not have ferro fluids in it (as far as i know) because i listen to alot of music at "elevated levels" using monitor 60's wich has the same tweeter

Neodymium magnets are ALWAYS tiny, they did not go cheap. I had a set of DEI Studio component speakers and they were REALLY nice and they had tiny Neo magnets too.

The Monitor 30 is a cheap speaker. If it is even using neodymium magnets, that is a real bonus.
