Black Diamond II - I've gone for the 1.4 gain version, 133 inches, 2.4 aspect ratio. Drewski11 has posted a link, and there are some good reviews on the site, as well as on the web. Saw it at CEDIA, and it is spectacular. Allows one to have excellent Contrast Ratio in a general use room, without having to paint everything black to avoid reflected light washout.

Glad to hear you have excellent convergence. Did you evaluate this using a single pixel grid? Any chance you could take some (very) close up (within 12-18 inches if camera will focus) pictures of a single pixel grid and post them? Thanks!
What projector did you have before this? Was this a replacement for a previous 950?
Fresh from the factory. Apparently, they made some improvement to the alignment/convergence, and I'm told (rightly or wrongly) that the rumoured improvement to the FI has been implemented in my firmware. Apperently, there was talk in the last few weeks of an update to the FI to reduce the artifacting in 24p mode.
I'm very happy with the convergence - yes, I'll post some shots later.
I am using the Philips Test Pattern Generator on my HTPC, which allows me to ensure 1 pixel test lines (with 25 pixels of black in between each line).
Horizontally, all the colors seems to be in pretty much perfect alignment on the horizontal test lines. On the vertical lines, Blue is slightly off on the right-hand side of the screen, excellent at the center, and VERY slightly off at the extreme left hand border of the screen. As I understand it, your eyes are less sensitive to misalignment of blue, so it is less of an issue than red or green would be.
BTW - Looks like someone at the factory did their best to align them before it shipped, as the settings in the menu came with a bunch of 3s and 4s already set..
