The sub that comes in that package has little response below 32 Hz. The SVS PC Plus will go down to ~20 hz.
The sub you have now is designed to play up to at least 100 Hz because of the smallish satellites response at the low end.
Make sure you pick a sub that has good response to at least 100 Hz as well as playing loudly down to ~20 Hz.
Have you talked to SVS to make sure it will give you the coverage at the high end that you need?
Assuming the PC Plus can handle the upper range, you would mainly hear the difference with material having content from ~20-32HZ.
There is enough difference that you should be able to hear it when you play something with some really deep bass.
Here is a link to a review of your current system. Click on the "In The Lab" PDF file in the review to see the measurments of the subwoofer, and the falling response of the satellites.http://www.soundandvisionmag.com/spe...tem-page2.html
