Hard Rain is absolutely epic, and the Carnival campaign is a blast too. They really picked the lamest part to use as the demo, which no doubt cost them some sales.
It was probably the first part ready (since it was the most like the first), so it was probably the most bug-free.
I've only been playing on Advanced for now, and it's roughly equivalent in difficulty to Expert in the last game. I've also been playing levels in order, so I've been doing the mall episode first (finally got to the finale tonight). I played a bit of the carnival one, but haven't seen Hard Rain yet.
Really enjoying the game. The pacing is harder to predict than in the first one. Seems steadier and more constant. Fewer heavy flows of zombies and more of an endless stream but in fewer numbers simultaneously.
It'll definitely be a while before I can tackle Expert, let alone Realism!
