To jump in... To some (and I stress some) of us, it appears that the 103 QEDO chip is applying some DNR even when set to 0. This is admittedly a
controversial topic on the owner's thread, but I will say that I see it in my 103. But that could account for the OP seeing more grain from his Panny.
