I don't have the PJ yet. I'm thinking something along the lines of a Panny AE4000 or Mits 3800. The distance is a little flexible, somewhere between 11 to 14 feet. Do you have any suggestions for a gray solution that works well on a matte white 1.0 base?
tiddler, how do I change the gray tint of the 4850 solution you mentioned? I haven't had time to check out the two threads that you linked to...will do that soon.
In terms of ambient light rejection while maintaining brightness, and ease of mixing and application, how does 4850 with Minwax compare to more complex gray solutions? Think will be my first time mixing and painting a screen (either rolling or spraying). Given that it'll be a roll-up screen that I buy, if I mess it up, then I'll be out a ~$250 item.
