Need Help with LG 47LC7DF HDTV

Thread Starter
Hello,
I purchased the LG 47LC7DF HDTV a few months ago and we have an intermittent problem that I cannot figure out. Every so often the picture goes black for a second or two. There is no pattern of time between occurences and no set pattern for length of blackout or channel it occurs on. Could this be a cable problem? we leave the HDMI cable hooked up in the rear of the tv all the time for occasional attachment to the laptop computer for watching netflix movies--could the attached cable with no terminus be causing this??
Please help--I'm confused!

You give us NOTHING to give us a clue to be able to help you. Please tell us what you are watching and how it is connected to your set when this is happening.

IMO it is unlikely the dangling HDMI cable is causing a problem BUT!!! Why didn't you remove it to see if it fixed your problem instead of asking us if that could be the cause of your problem???
