Any estimate of how many 55LHXs you have left? Have been trying to get Forum Members interested in the set as being the Best that LG has produced, bar none! Matte Screen (Probably the last of it's kind), Wireless, A lot more LEDs than any of the New sets coming out, Backlit, No LED compromises to get it Thinner! And, finally, a beautiful PQ, Right Out of the Box! The Blacks are Black!

We certainly have them in stock, but any estimate I give now will be out of date within the next half hour!

I have had previous purchases with adorama and they have always been a quality establishment. Unfortunately their price on the lhx is higher than what was offered by other vendors (who promptly sold out of course). I tried to get them to match, but unfortunately they declined.

If they came closer to the other prices, I would have no problem using them.

The only thing keeping me from purchasing this TV, and this may sound illogical, but I don't want another box plugged in. I almost pulled the trigger when I learned that I could use the monitor without the set top box, but then I discovered that most of functionality requires the box (picture adjustments, etc). Now... if I knew that I could adjust the TV with the box, unplug the box, and have those settings stick then I would purchase one immediately. I just don't want something else plugged into the wall.

The 55LHX was horribly marketed...it's easily hands down the best matte screen LG produced, including form factor and can go toe to toe with XBR8 and B8500.
All LG had to do was take this display and add this years updated video processing and feature set and this display would have been the best matte screen available for 2010...by a wide margin.

Picked mine up from CP at a much lower price then adorama, and now the wife is hinting she may want to purchase one as well! Some other Forum Members mentioned CP says he's sold out. Chris has not replied back as to whether he has other sources for them. (Wife's got several other LGs through out the house for her use, but now, has to be kicked off mine!)

I think that's all he found last time for me and another Forum member. But I thought you mentioned cheaper prices at some other places? Or, has adorama got the last stache? The ones he found got shipped to us from California.

This set just keeps getting Brighter! Have now backed off the Backlight to 10!

On high def junkies there are at least two other users who've reported an issue where trumotion is definitely enabled yet the menu claims it's disabled. I too am seeing this exact same behavior. Has anyone here seen this and was able to figure out a pattern or a fix?

I can notice it easily when watching high definition content. The picture on screen will get really smooth and I'll also see a lot of judder around anything fast moving especially bodies and limbs.

I've noticed that it's really easy to see that it's turned on when watching The Office in HD. I think it's due to the filming style it's filmed in -- lots of camera zooming and panning. The camera doesn't really stay fixed in one spot.

Watched several movies + satellite on the weekend - didn't see any problems.
Used Picture Wizard to do the Internal setups and transferred the results to THX. Bumped the Gamma to High and White Balance to Medium on the Expert 1 and THX

I think this issue is limited to a very few as I would have expected more people to notice the problem.

On High def junkies there is a member, mrmachine, who just had an LG tech come out a few days ago but he couldn't do anything to resolve the issue.

Firstly - I notice your in Bold Model # is 55LH95-UA, where as mine is Only 55LHX
As mentioned - a November Build with Firmware 3.21
Backlight for Day is 30, for Night 10. THX on my set with White Balance on Warm is very close to calibrated spec, but way too Yellow for my liking!
The other weird thing was that in all Modes, when I went to check the settings, the Cursor was on Picture Reset! Thusly, Expert 1 and 2 IRE and CMS had all Zeroes and no original Factory settings. Beginning to wonder if set was previously sold, returned, then re-packaged. I don't care. The PQ is to my liking. When I put the Meter to read the THX settings with White Balance on Medium (Where I like the PQ) - Blue was off the scale one way and Red the other. Green was basically Dead on. The other nice thing I like about this set was the fact, at night, you basically don't see any bars - top/bottom or sides. They just blend into the Bezel and since the set is recessed into my wall unit. (Due to the Stand) When you get a 4:3 or 16:9 where you have the bars, it just seems to appear that you have a smaller set, the rest becomes Black filler and not noticeable! Love this!

It appears, manufacturers want to give their customers that Picture with POP! Therefore, the Highly Reflective Screens! (I also think it may hide defects as well!) OLED - the jury is still out on those until we actually get a suitable sized version to judge. Whether they will go the same route, we'll have to ask if any Forum Member saw that 30" OLED at the Electronics Show in Vegas and how was the reflectivity?

That's pretty much what I was wondering about. And plenty of Samsung matte screens have that pop factor. I don't see how it affects that. I understand why it's used, but I don't see why Matte is out as many people understand the benefits. Also, for OLED, that would just be mindboggling. It certainly hides defects though. It's what I assumed from the beginning, and in reality why I noticed a lot of stuff with the LG LH90.

OK, so I've got this great looking 55LHX with drop dead, gorgeous picture. So then, why do my itching tweaking fingers want to get in there and tweak it?
So far managed to restrain myself to just taking readings. Straight liners would be agast at where the readings are with White Balance on Medium. But with the White Balance on Warm, the Yellow Tinge just makes me shudder! Yet, the Meter readings show almost everything is in close alignment. I don't know - supposedly Blue/White Bad - Yellow Tinged Overall Picture Good!? Where again was that village in France that the reference is the Sun at 1:15PM in the afternoon at some specific time of the year!?

It looks like QVC.com has some 55lhx for sale.

The train is leaving the station, time to get on board if you want this Beautiful looking LG Model before they're all gone! And they have a payment plan! Chris seems to have missed the boat on this one, but I do thank him for getting two, one for myself and another member. But how did Adorama and QVC manage to get their hands on so many, when others are sold out and can't get them any more? (QVCs TV Advert, that runs on their website, showing them selling these on TV, stated they had over 1000 of these sets left? Adorama won't state an approximate # left, only states the number changes every half hour!) Amazon.com, can't figure out, their price bounces all over the map as well as what the Retail Price is: all Retail prices greater than the Retail quoted by QVC!
