This sucks. Especially for RB2 and GH5. If it's rated TEEN then it shouldn't be censored much at all. I mean teenagers can go buy the cds themselves with all of the language, sex, and everything else. I hate hearing skipped parts. It's annoying. I should sue and demand my hundreds of dollars back.

Not to mention all that Satanism these games inundate you with.

Best stay far away from Band Hero, cuz that Don McLean....with his American Pie....missing the word "whiskey", yet a whole verse dedicated to signing about Satan somehow slipped by.

Don McLean - agent of Beelzebub, didn't you know?

You're naive or not paying attention if you don;'t think nearly all music has satanic lyrics. It's ridiculous.

Actually it is your constant cry of "satanism" that is ridiculous. Notice you are the only one talking about it all the time, warranted or not?

Either every other AVS member frequenting the Nintnedo forum is a demon spawned in Hell & is out to get your mortal soul or you need to seriously reevaluate your definition of the term.

Well we don't need to get off topic on this anyway as staff asked us not to. I just cocasionally mention it because it's not my taste in music for these games, but no point getting off onto a debate about it as staff will get mad and suspend or ban most likely. Everyone has a right to like whatever, but I'm just always stating my own reasons for not buying various games.

I haven't, but there have been those on the GH website forums that claim they are the "best" msuic game drums they have played. Certainly sounds like they ironed out some of the issues the GHWT drums were having.

But take the opinions of GH fanboys on the official site w/ a grain of salt.

Guess who got in line at Old Navy just in time to score a bracelet?

I'll let you know mine and my kids opinion of Lego Rock Band later this month.

I see this is $25 at Amazon. I hate to keep paying money, but I went to a Bryan Adams concert tonight and was wondering why none of his songs are in these games and then I notice Summer Of '69 is in this game! Plus I love Crocodile Rock, among other songs. I just hate to keep shelling out money I don't have though.
Sigh. Less than 10 songs into story mode before it gave me a repeat of crocodile rock. lol
post #70 of 77
Wow. lol

I just played a song then a random one and it was the SAME song. Then I played another song then another random one and AGAIN it repeated. And now my reward for completing all those random songs is MORE RANDOM SET LISTS APPEARING. So now all I have is build a set or random sets all over the place despite having only finished 1/3 or so songs from the fulls et list! So I have to go through yet MORE repeats to get to play any new ones later.

Well that's one way to make the game last longer... Force you to play the same songs 100 times each to make up for alck of a big set list. Maybe they figure since the game's for kids the kids will be too dumb to know they're playing the same songs repeatedly.

Wow. Just wow. lol Sorry to keep posting in here, but seriously this is so funny and pathetic. I think there's now something like 13 available gigs and all are either mystery sets or build a set. Why they think that is fun, I don't know. I mean seriously even if they only added one of each to each venue it would be annoying, but they even add SEVERAL to the same exact venue.

As to Basher's complaint - for me, the make/build a setlist & mystery setlists are the best parts of the RB experience. Either make a setlist of what you want to play right then or let the game throw random suprises at you. How is that not fun?

Only not fun part, I imagine, would be w/ L:RB, since you are stuck w/ the disc tracks only. Both options are obviously more satisfying in RB2 when you have a decent amount of DLC.
Well plus it's too MANY of those set list types. And yes the lack of content is what makes it horrible as you keep repeating the same songs.

Sounds like RB2 before the Store for Wii went live - at least with that game we had 80+ disc tracks out of the gate.
Yeah I remember it happening exactly this way in RB2 except I'm pretty sure RB2 still didn't have 2 or 3 of those set lists in EVERY gig. It's one thing if they have a city with one random set and one build a set, but three of each for the same freakin city?
How fun. I just played at least 9 songs and NONE were new ones. there are still 12 unavailable songs yet it keeps making me play only build and surprise sets voer and over with no new songs available.
