Is it just my imagination? The price of NAS suggested in this PCMag article seems high. The cheapest is Apple's timecapsule, but then you are locked into a 1TB drive.
There must be simpler alternatives that are perhaps cheaper. What do you think of the other options suggested?

for quite a while now. I just upgraded one of the drives to 1.5tb and am very happy with it. The only problem I have with it is it does not auto-power on after a power failure.
