Need a thermostat for my MX-6000

I just bought a mx-6000 and I was thinking that I could add a RF or wifi Thermostat.

Has anyone done this with the MX-6000?
Also will any RF or WiFi thermostat work? or are there going to be compatibility issues?

I love it.

Right now im using it to control my DVR, BluRay, Receiver, HDTV, and HTPC.
I also bought 3 of the URC Lutron Dimmers for my track lighting and have them all set to scenes, so its pretty awesome.

Still havent figured out what to do for my thermostat tho?

Awesome i havent heard of that.

Will that work directly with the MX-6000? or are you using some sort of PC software for control.

Would love to know more about your setup

I will know more Monday. I was told Saturday at about 4 pm that I cant control it through a global IP.

I wanted to be able to do both. Control with remote and from work.

He is also showing me http://www.universalremote.com/produ....php?model=108

I guess I would not need the base station. I will know much more on Monday.

Yea i looked at that but just seemed to much for my current setup and dont really have a rack so it would be sitting out with STB and stuff i didnt want all that.

So i got the MRF-350 which sits behind my bluray player out of sight.
And i use the RFX-250 and have it in a drawer so its out of sight.

Also helped that i got a really good deal on CL.

I got the whole setup for $1000
MX-6000
3 URC Lutron Dimmers
URC PSX-2 Ipod dock
MRF-350
RFX-250

budeone how is the setup working for you.

Did you get the thermostat to work with your remote?

I am sorry to say no. The came up with a few suggestions but none were worth what I was going to get.

I went with the station, remote and the dimmers all over.

It really works well and I am pretty happy. I really love just pushing one button and having the lights go on and off in different zones. The movie set up is just amazing how certain lights go to different brightness.

I will continue to look around and keep my eyes open.

Yea i havent decided on one either.

Thought about getting a honeywell prestige HD...even tho it wont work with my remote.
Color touchscreen is pretty cool.

That looks cool and I would want an IP based system so at the very least I can control from any pc.
