New option? DIY frame for AT and fabric screens- Screeneze

Thread Starter
I'm planning out a new DIY screen to replace my 120" WilsonArt DW screen (wood frame) and want to go the extruded aluminum route. In my searches I stumbled across ScreenEze. It's got some assembly advantages over regular extruded aluminum in that the fabric is snapped in with a beveled vinyl clip.

What do you fellow DIYers think?

Check it out!

Seems like a great option. The countour of the cap is perfect for a screens' border. If you decided to go with it be sure to make a build thread, I would love to see the results.

I did some thing very similar, but I reused my old frame. You could make your own wood frame, wrap in velvet and apply the screen tight to the back of the frame. Screen Tight is ready available and cheap from Lowe's. Here is my thread for my screen (Center Stage XD) conversion. www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1180610&highlight=convert+elunevision
