Should I take it back?

I just bought a Pioneer pro-151fd 60" plasma at Best buy. I got it for $3400 OTD. I am waiting for it to be delivered.

I feel brand loyalty to Sony but can't find the XBR8 locally. I am looking at the Sammy 8500. It was not in stock at BB when I got my plasma.

It arrives in two weeks. I could still change my mind. I hate buyer's remorse.

I'd keep the Pro - but if you can't afford the Sony XBR8 (which is phasing out/discontinued and is at much lower prices, then you probably wouldn't be able to afford the Samsung B8500 either.

there is nothing better. Keep it.

I have no brand loyalty whatsoever. WHY?

OK so Sony used to be the brand to beat when it came to TV, but that was loooooong time ago. Sony designs used to be the coolest after Apple, but again, no longer true. So I don't know. Are we stuck in the past?

I would keep the Pioneer too, and don't be cheap to buy a good extended warranty with the option for cash back. I mean by the time it breaks, they are not going to have another 151 to give u and u don't want ANY replacement do you.

I can afford the samsung, sony and Pioneer. This is not about the money. I am concerned about the Pioneer plasma and possible breakdown in the future.

I got a 4 yr extended warranty from BB. Iwas looking for a 5yr plan but they did not offer it. Any other good warranty plans out there?
