Paradigm Sub 1 and Sub 2

Does anyone know how Paradigm Sub 1 compares to Paradigm Signature sub 25? I was planning on purchasing two Signature sub 25's, but I am thinking about changing my order to two Sub 1's. Sub 2 is too large for my space , so it is not an option, unfortunately.

I'm looking for a subwoofer with a max size of about the size of the Elemental Designs A7-450 or a bit taller. Price is not as important and having the best home theater performance possible. I just want one subwoofer, so please don't suggest buying two of this or three of that.

Any thoughts on whether the Sub 2 would outperform the Elemental Designs A7-450, or Mark Seaton's Terraform XL? I realize the Sub 2 is much more expense, but I'm just looking at performance right now. Anything else I should be looking at that might outperform the Sub 2 for home theater?

Why do you like 2 sub 1's over two signature sub 25's?

i know for sure that in car audio 6 8" woofers will out perform 1 15" woofer. its will be lower and tighter.

Have you considered the difference in amps? There is almost twice as much power on tap inside the Sub 25.

I still haven't seen any reviews on the Sub 1. Is it not actually shipping yet?

Are there any other subs that will produce 112 dB @10Hz?

Does anyone know the bass output measurement of this sub at 20Hz? I would like to compare with other subs on Craigsub list.

I just wanted you to know that Craig Chase made his measurements the hard way. Outdoors at 2 meters.

Lugging heavy and large subwoofers outdoors and setting up the microphone and other equipment isn't something most people ever do.

Virtually all of the measurments you see posted were made indoors.

Finding comparable measurements isn't going to be easy.

For the $7,500 there are all kinds of subwoofer solutions. Using the Craigsub list has its disadvantages. Lots of the models have changed or completely discontinued.

There is a new generation of subwoofers that will never be tested in the same way as those on the Craigsub list.

People on this forum have a large number of choices if they are going to spend that kind of money. A Seaton Terraform XL is on people's list.

I'm not crowning anything, but if someone's looking for a sub of reasonable size with lots of output, the Sub 2 looks like it will be tough to beat.

The key words are "the sub to beat". You can back off that statement as far and as fast as you want. Meanwhile, the real action is with the Danley DTS-10.

Actually the key words are "if" and "will be" meaning that he is hypothesizing about a potential outcome. You are the one that is trying to draw a conclusion from someone elses guess and it would seem you are trying to put words in his mouth about something he said hypothetically and not factually.
