So yesterday, I decide that Forza 3 is the game for me. In my haste to own the game first day and get going, I ignored the buy 1 get 1 at best buy. I could have bought Borderlands and Forza and got something else, perhaps a red faction. I also ignored Amazon, who had a get $10 gift card. I bought my game at target and got zippo and I knew it which is the sad thing! Why did I do such a thing AVS? It is obvious that I am hopeless as an educated shopper. The mauds banished from the AVS deals thread and even when I find my own deals I am too scurred to capitalize and pull the trigger ! I deserve your scorn. Let my own poor shopping strategies turn you into the world's best.

No scorn. My personal thought is that the $10-15 you might have saved somewhere else is easily replaced with the satisfaction, and fullfilment of getting the game at launch.

I almost always but new games with the discount (I did order Forza 3 from Amazon, but will likely not get it till the end of the week), but I did buy Boarderlands day 1 from TrU. To me, the thrill of playing 1st day with friends was worth it.

Well.....As I am sitting here at my desk, my office manager brings me my mail, and low and behold, a package from Amazon......Forza 3.....and this is with free shipping......so.....na na nana na... I got a great deal....

Oh man, I believe I was part of that banhammer. Something about a white cat...I won't say anymore for fear of being banned from this thread.

On topic, yes, Best Buy is doing the B2G1 through Saturday. I hope to get some time in with Borderlands this very evening.

Whiskey, how can you get up every morning and look at yourself in the mirror! Really though man, cheer up, it's not a big deal. Return the first one and go of to BB and get your deal. Or is that not possible? If you can't, then I would suggest a drink or TEN to forget your poor judgement...?? :

Buy the game again at BBy with the deal, and use the sealed one to return to Target.

May not be that ethical, but they are getting the same product back that you originally purchased.

Whiskey, after such an uneducated move on your part I feel its only fair to the rest of us smart gamers that you sell your 360 and be banished back to the x-box PS2 consoles until you can show us all you are worthy of playing next gen consoles and games.....nope I'm sorry that is the decision of this court...now go....with your head hung low.
