new sub under 500 recomendations

basement carpeted room is about 22 by 15 60% movies/gamming 40% music
set up is mission m series bookshelfs and centre running off avr 790
had 10 inch mission sub have melted the amp once and repaired and now it is almost nonexistant again looking for new sub aroun $500 out the door live in canada
i have looked at
paradigm dsp-3100 can get for $430
klipsch sub-12 for $399.99
Polk PSW 125 for $350
or 10 inch PSB not sure of model# for $430
the sub does and will sit in front right corner of room
any recomedations

have you tried any of the internet direct subs? i'd suggest taking a look:

I know it's a bit more than you want to spend but for $579 you can get an SVS PB10-NSD. It will definitely outperform any of the subs you have listed, by quite a large margin too. It's nice that they sell directly in Canada so it's a great option.

If you don't mind buying used then here's a HSU VTF-3 Mk2 in Ontario for $550.
This sub will be a decent upgrade over the PB10-NSD.

There are other great deals on CanuckAudioMart also, it's a good resource for Canadians. Hope that helps.

would like new and stay in canada or from local store so no issues with return if not what i want it to be
any comments on the ones i listed
not looking to shake foundation just good tight bass leaning towrds paradigm due to ties with anthem should have better guts in it

I'd have to agree and say that PSB and Paradigm are the better quality brand names you listed. PSB is a great speaker company.

any links to discount codes for the website realy would like to keep at 5 hun all in which probally wont happen from them if thats the case would you the dsp or the psb
