Just back from the local Frys and they had a Martin Logan MLT1 5.1 speaker system.. Never heard of it, nor can I find any info on the speakers on the Martin Logan website.
I came back from Frys today and I also saw this system. They were quoting 599.99 for this and I thought that it was a good price. I almost picked it up but some how I am not able to get over the ML Preface. Thinking of creating a 7.1 system with 2 Preface and 5 speakers from this. I am no audiophile but I thought the SW of the MLT could have been better.
Interestingly it is not showing on the Frys online so do not know if they are selling it yet or not.
ML created this a few years back, but pilled it entirely from their line-up, and sold the remaining inventory to Fry's. It's clearance, won't be back, and ML pretty much ignores its existence. As to if its any good, that I have no idea about.
