Does this model (P2370HD) have a QAM tuner?
Thanks!

Thanks. Online manuals at Samsung etc. only mentioned ATSC.

Strangely enough - for the P2570HD - although not mentioned on the Samsung website or online manual .pdf - it says NTSC/ATSC/QAM on the box of the product itself! Hope it works.

TV is one of those thing that most people here would tell u to buy local rather than online. Plus your local brick&mortar would try to price-match if u request anyways.

25" $269 27" $319 at Costco + extra year warranty, why do it anywhere else.

Just got this today at Costco in Scottsdale, AZ. The QAM tuner worked fine with Cox Communications and I'm enjoying both unencrypted QAM and analog channels while also using it as a monitor via DVI when I am not watching TV.

Great set!

P2570HD To follow up here. I also got this at Costco. I'm having a problem with it and may have to return.....

1. I have an upconverting Sony DVD player.
2. connected with a HDMI cable the picture looks great on an older 720p Envision I have AND on my Mom's 720p Sony Bravia
3. but on this Samsung P2570HD, using the same Sony DVD player and connected with the same HDMI cable from above...the picture is much grainier and not anywhere near as sharp as the 720p's?
4. This TV/Monitor is 1080P
5. What up? I thought the picture was going to blow me away.

Thanks for any help!!!

A DVD upconverted to 1080p will look much grainery then one upconverted to 720p since upconverting to 1080p requires the invention of 1.5 million of pixels and the upconvert to 720 only requires the invention of a about 1/2 million pixels. Also the quality of the upconverting of all upconverting players is not the same. The networks use upconverting hard ware scalers costing many thousands of $ to upconvert their programs filmed with SD cameras for broadcast over their HD channels.

I would try to let the player upconvert to 1080, or play straight 480 and let the TV do the resizing. Back off a little on the sharpness setting.
