Anyone using HDMI-CEC aka Bravia Sync?

The more I find out about HDMI CEC, the more I like it. I've gotten in the habit of having my PS3 turn on my TV for me and I've grown quite accustomed to navigating the PS3 menus with my TV's remote when watching DVDs.

Still there are some nagging compatibility issues. My Samsung remote has loads of buttons I never use, but the PS3's very useful Triangle button (access to DVD menus, subtitles, etc) doesn't seem to be mapped to any button on my remote.

Is there a way to customize this?

There is nothing you can do. It is what it is. CEC implementation works better on some things than it does others and if you have mixed products, you can forget about a lot of functionality.

Thanks! Can't be perfect I suppose. Still it's very convenient.

It could have been a lot better (cough) firewire (cough). Although I remain hopeful for the future-it's definitely possible things can get better.
