I just received this tv from a friend (who didn't want to deal with the problem im going to describe). Let me preface by saying that i'm a student with less than 100 dollars to fix this issue and am satisfied with the tv despite the fact that it has the issue.

What you may not be able to see is that there is a almost "paint brush" like wavy shadow in the bottom right corner that is affecting nearly a quarter of the screen.
Basically im wondering if this may be image persistence or if its a deeper issue? What things can i try to do? Like i said earlier please only offer suggestions to fix the tv since i have not way of purchasing a new one.
