Hi,
I have been reading the various posts on mounting LCDs but could not find one that directly applied to my situation. So I would like some directions/suggestions. I am planning to mount a 19inch lcd (<10 lbs) to a mono price flush mount (no articulation). The problem is I don't have any studs in the area and the mount has two vertical holes to line up on a single stud. Apart from that it has 4 larger holes (in vertical rectangle form) that will be too big for a #12 screw head.
My question are:
1. Can I get away with just two drywall anchors in the two vertical holes for the stud? I currently have bought the Cobra triple grip dry wall anchors from Lowes - http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...72S&lpage=none
2. Should I get a different dry wall anchor (like the toggler from snap toggle - which might be overkill for a 10 lbs wt) ?
3. Should I put 4 of the drywall anchors in the larger holes by using a washer. My concern with this is the close proximity of the horizontal holes. See left image in the following link - http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...t=1#largeimage
TIA
