Problem with Samsung LCD

Thread Starter
Hey, I have a 46" Samsung LCD TV about 2 years old that started a nasty problem about 4 months ago.
When I power it on the left side of the display is dark and blurry, the right hand side is ok. After about 10 minutes the top 1/4 to 1/3 of the screen begins to display normally and it gradually works it's way down in thirds until the entire display looks good after about 15-20 minutes.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is and can it be fixed cheaply enough to justify having it repaired?
After the screen clears up It's good until the next time I turn it off for a while and back on.

I am guessing their is a bad connection or other type of connection that has too much resistance until it is heated up. This is probably not an easy or cheapn fix unless you are knowledgeable in the service of such items.

Keep in mind I am guessing based on reading about similar problems. It could be dust build up or a bad board.

Follow THIS advice. If it doesn't do anything, yer looking at a power supply problem, most likely. $200-300 bux to replace.

I think that color tube or may be the screen has some problem.
