Thanks for the info! I stuffed a little cardboard in there and the drive seems nice and tight now. I did order the bracket from DC because I would like to be able to take the drive out easily in the future.
So far I have to say I'm very happy with the unit. Reception actually seems better than my Panasonic plasma's tuner (although yesterday was a particularly clear day in San Carlos...
) and everything I tried seemed to work as expected. It's definitely a far cry from their R-2210 which I've been “having fun” with for several years.
My only disappointment was that I was not able to get WavPack audio files to play (or even be seen) despite DVICO's claims in the specs that they're supported. I even tried embedding WavPack audio in a MKA file, and this was seen but gave “unsupported format” on playing. Not a big deal, but I'm wondering what kind of WavPack support they're talking about, exactly.
