Extend my plasma power cable question???

Hey guys, I have my Panny above my fireplace and the power cord is to short to reach my UPS.

Whats the best solution to extend the power cable? The stock panny has a very thick power cable btw.. I dont know if i could just cut the end off and splice into it with the same thickness of cable..

I dont know.. That sounds simple enough but, I am trying to hide the wire behind one of those cable hiders and I dont think those ends will fit..

they have basically any length you need as you just buy the length you need and eliminate the factory one. I definitely wouldn't splice it.

Yea, I was looking at those, but I dont think its thick enough..

My 54G10 came with an 18AWG cord. The Monoprice cables are available up to 14AWG. How thick do you want?

or just get a long enough extension cord that it stays inside the wire molding and make the connection between the two behind the TV.
